Unit 2: Prevention and early intervention of Type 2 diabetes
Within this unit your learners will look at the prevention and early intervention for Type 2 diabetes and how it can be prevented or delayed through lifestyle changes.
Unit 3: Understand the initial care of diabetes
In this unit your learners will explore how diabetes can be managed and monitored, as well as the impact a diagnosis of diabetes can have on an individual.
Unit 4: Understanding treatment and management of diabetes
In this unit your learners will gain an understanding of the ongoing care and treatment that is recommended to control blood glucose levels and identify how to prevent and detect complications for people with diabetes.
